Carson Macedo burst onto the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car scene in 2019, earning Kevin Gobrecht Rookie-of-the-Year honors in his first full-time campaign. A former USAC Indiana Midget Week champion and fourth-generation racer from Lemoore, California, Macedo quickly evolved from promising prospect to perennial title threat, joining Jason Johnson Racing in 2021 and adding double-digit win seasons in 2022, 2023, and 2024. His 12-victory haul in 2024—capped by a World Finals triumph in Charlotte—marked the third time in four years he eclipsed the 10-win mark, cementing his status among the sport’s elite.
The 2025 campaign has already delivered milestone moments. On May 26—his 29th birthday—Macedo led every lap of the Chillicothe Classic at Atomic Speedway to score his 50th World of Outlaws A-Feature win, becoming just the 18th driver to reach the half-century plateau and the youngest active member of the Series’ top-20 all-time winners list. He followed with a record-extending fifth career victory at Jackson Motorplex and continues to rank inside the championship’s top three while pushing his career total past 52 victories.
