Team: Elite Motorsports

Driver: Greg Stanfield

A second-generation Louisiana racer and renowned engine builder, Greg Stanfield owns six NHRA world titles — five in Super Stock (1990, ’92-94, ’21) and the inaugural Holley EFI Factory X crown he clinched in 2024. During a decorated career that also includes 21 national-event victories across Pro Stock, Pro Stock Truck, and Sportsman ranks, he has forged a reputation for meticulous craftsmanship at Stanfield Racing Engines and razor-sharp consistency behind the wheel.

Fresh off that Factory X championship, Stanfield will return to full-time Pro Stock competition in 2025 under the Elite Motorsports banner, driving a Janac Brothers / The Rod Shop Chevrolet Camaro alongside his son, 2024 title contender Aaron Stanfield. The father-and-son pairing marks the first multi-generational duo to race as teammates in modern Pro Stock and adds another potent entry to Elite’s powerhouse lineup. Stanfield’s comeback begins at the season-opening Gatornationals in Gainesville, where his trademark quick reflexes and deep tuning knowledge promise to make an immediate impact on the championship chase.

Off the track, Stanfield mentors up-and-coming drivers and continues to develop cutting-edge powerplants at his family’s Bossier City shop, ensuring the Stanfield legacy in NHRA drag racing remains as strong in the engine room as it is in the winner’s circle.
