Team: Engler Machine & Tool

Driver: Tim Engler

Tim Engler is tractor pulling royalty. The Princeton, Indiana native founded Engler Machine & Tool in 1980, then used his own engineering to dominate the National Tractor Pullers Association throughout the 1980s and ’90s. Piloting iconic multi-engine machines like Mission Impossible, Engler captured 13 NTPA Grand National titles and more than 100 event wins before shifting full-time to chassis, fuel-injection, and component design. His innovations— from billet barrel-valve injectors to chromoly pull-tractor frames—still power champions across tractor pulling, sprint cars, and midgets.

A 2006 inductee to the NTPA Hall of Fame and 2008 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, Engler now focuses on R&D at his 45,000-square-foot facility while mentoring the next generation of pullers. Whether dyno-tuning a 5,000-hp V8 cluster or machining a custom titanium shaft, he continues to push mechanical boundaries, proving that ingenuity and craftsmanship can haul 300 feet at full throttle—and win.
