USAC’s seventh “Triple Crown” champion, Chris Windom owns national titles in Silver Crown (2016), Sprint Cars (2017), and Midgets (2020), along with multiple Indiana Sprint Week and Eastern Storm crowns.

After more than 80 feature victories on the non-wing circuit—and NASCAR Cup and Truck Series cameos—the Canton, Illinois native will chase new ground in 2025 as a World of Outlaws rookie with Sides Motorsports.

Climbing aboard the iconic NOS-branded No. 7S, Windom opened the season at Volusia’s DIRTcar Nationals and, by April, led the rookie standings while running ninth overall—thanks to a trio of top-five finishes and class-leading average qualifying speed.

Known for surgically smooth throttle control and an analytical approach to setup changes, he has adapted quickly to winged-sprint aerodynamics, forming a potent duo with crew chief Jason Sides in the hunt for Kevin Gobrecht Rookie-of-the-Year honors.

Whether taming Haubstadt’s tight quarter-mile or thundering around Knoxville’s half-mile, Windom’s blend of championship pedigree and relentless versatility continues to prove that elite talent transcends chassis, tires, and wings.
