Five-time Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour champion Sam Hafertepe Jr. has spent nearly three decades turning dirt ovals into personal playgrounds. The Sunnyvale, Texas, native owns 80-plus National Tour victories—second on the series’ all-time list—and countless wins with the World of Outlaws and All Star Circuit of Champions. His 2024 campaign featured 12 ASCS triumphs, a 360 Knoxville Nationals prelim win, and a run that stretched his career round-win total well past 900.
Now 39, Hafertepe returns with Hill’s Racing for the full 2025 ASCS slate, piloting the Fischer-powered Triple X Chassis No. 15. He opened the season by sweeping the RPM Speedway finale in Texas and added a milestone 79th Tour win at Salina Highbanks, tying the late Jason Johnson for second all-time before eclipsing the mark two weeks later. Known for fearless cushion-riding, mechanical savvy, and an unwavering focus on championships, Hafertepe remains the standard by which 360 sprint-car excellence is measured.
